Gallery: 2013 Abu Dhabi International Triathlon

In just a few short years the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon has cemented its status as one of the biggest races on the triathlon calendar. This year a strong contender for a 2013 Kona win, Frederik Van Lierde, ran away from the field to take his second title in the men’s race, with Melissa Hauschildt doing the same in the women’s (read a race report here). Meanwhile, in the short course event Alistair Brownlee confirmed that he’s also exceptionally talented over longer distances as well, smashing the course record en route to an impressive win (read about that here).
