Eton Dorney To Host ETU Junior European Championship Finale

The provisional list of ETU Junior European Championship Events has been released. The season, which is scheduled to finish at Eton Dorney in Surrey, features races across Europe:

This remains a provisional list at this stage, but it is anticipated there will be ten ETU Junior European Cups in addition to the ETU Junior European Championships.

Some of the Junior events will be held in conjunction with an ITU European Cup Elite race; in Antalya, Istanbul, Alanya (European Championships) and Tiszaujvaros. The Tiszaujvaros event will be in a semi-final/final format as it was last year.

Amongst old favourites such as Antalya, Brno and Tabor, there are several new and exciting locations for Junior athletes.

Vierzon (FRA) and Eton Dorney (GBR), the 2012 Olympic rowing venue, will host an International race for the first time and the ETU will return to Athlone (IRL) for the first time in three years.

25 May – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Brno, Czech Republic (CZE)

14-15 June – ETU Triathlon Junior European Championships – Alanya, Turkey (TUR)

22-23 June – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Kupiškis, Lithuania (LTU)

6 July – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Athlone, Ireland (IRL)

28 July – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Tabor, Czech Republic (CZE)

3-4 August – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Istanbul, Turkey (TUR)

10-11 August – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Tiszaujvaros, Hungary (HUN)

31 August – ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup – Eton Dorney, Great Britain (GBR)
