12 Days Of Xmas: Win Entry To The Marlow Triathlon

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… entry to the 2013 Marlow Olympic or Standard Distance event (your choice).

Hold on to your hats because this is probably the greatest competition that has ever been run, anywhere. We couldn’t wait for the official twelve days of Christmas to kick off, so thought we’d take the initiative and run our own very special competition. Every day, for the next eleven days, we will be profiling a new prize for our 12 Days of Christmas Extravaganza. At the end of this fantastically festive twelve day run one lucky person will get their hands on everything. That’s right: one person is going to win the lot.

But we’re going to make you work for it. Because you can’t just enter once and expect to scoop all of the good stuff. Instead, we need you to enter the competition SIX times over the course of the next twelve days. It’s very easy to do – just click here and fill out your name and email address and answer a simple question. And that’s it! Six entries over the twelve days is enough to get your name in the hat to win the kind of prizes that only a lot of money can buy.

Yesterday we threw a Lezyne CNC Floor Drive (well, placed it gently) into our Triathlete Europe sack, and today is all about the sold out 2013 Marlow Olympic and Sprint Distance Triathlon hosted by F3 Events. Yep, the winner of our bumper prize is going to get entry to that race. Want some more info? It’s all here:

Sprint Distance: 750m Swim/ 24.5km Bike/ 5km Run
Olympic Distance: 1.5km Swim/ 37km Bike/ 10km Run

F3 Events proudly presents the 3rd year of the Maxifuel Nutrition Marlow River Olympic & Sprint Distance Triathlon, a triathlon consisting of a river swim, cycling and running, taking place on Sunday 23rd June 2013.

The event is open to all levels of participant and encourages first time triathletes to the event.

The Swim course for the Olympic Distance is a 1500 metre one lap course and for the Sprint Distance it is a 750 metre half lap course in the River Thames and is designed to make even the weakest swimmer get a fast swim split.

The Bike course for the Olympic Distance is 37km and only has 2 main hills, other wise it is flat and fast. The Sprint Distance is 24.5km – It uses the Henley / Marlow Road which completely out and back. The Bike course uses some of the Challenge Henley Triathlon Course along the Fairmile near Henley.

The Run course for the Olympic Distance is a 2 Lap 5km route on Tarmac and Grass Footpaths and meanders back towards Marlow and into the finish at Higginson Park from the river tow path. The Sprint Distance is just a 1 Lap 5km route.
