His bars are turned up substantially. -
Bennett uses ski tip-style extensions with a lot of rise. He rides Shimano Dura-Ace Di2. -
Bennett's elbow pads are fixed to his bike with electrical tape. -
The Di2 wiring passes cleanly through the TM01's front end. -
He has a unique bottle cage mount that situates an XLab Gorilla cage between his elbows. -
Two bottles on the frame. -
Every detail on Bennett's bike is addressed. The gap in the TM01's V-brakes used to adjust the brake shoes is covered with electrical tape. -

He raced on Zipp 808s, both front and rear. -
21mm Zipp Tangente tires, narrower than many people are using today. -
His elbow cups are shimmed into an angle closer to horizontal. -
His saddle height is marked by electrical tape. -
Like the Raelert brothers, who also ride the TM01, Bennett's saddle is pushed as far forward as the bike allows. -
He races with an SRM power meter. -
K-Edge Chain Catcher mounted to the front derailleur ensures his chain doesn't fall to the inside. -
Gel flask mount on the top tube. -
The veteran pro raced in Kona for the first time this year. -
Bennett is known as a strength rider, and his 55-tooth big ring supports that reputation. -
His crank length, however, is just 170mm.
