The 4 day camp will take place from 25th-28th JAN 2013 based around the Canberra Olympic Pool. Canberra is a perfect location for a triathlon camp with access to amazing facilities including 50m pool, lakes for open water swimming, great parks & trails for running and excellent bike riding. It is also the base for Darren Smith’s Dsquad. Participants will also have the amazing opportunity to work with Dsquad’s world class advisors including Team Dietician Dr Liz Broad and Rehab Specialist Rick Van Riemsdijk who both help Darren Smith’s athletes stay in top condition. There will also be organised social events throughout the 4 days to get to know everyone which will also double as educational opportunities with Darren Smith and his team.
Commenting on the Camp Darren Smith said: “I am really looking forward to having a group of motivated triathletes come to our Canberra “Dsquad camp” in the New Year. We have a really engaging and motivating environment that I’m sure the camp participants will enjoy.”
The camp will be limited to just 15 athletes who will have the unique opportunity to work closely with and receive coaching from Darren Smith over 4 days. We had some amazing feedback & immediate improvements from athletes on our first successful event with Darren on the 1 day London Master Class so this 4 day camp promises to be a great opportunity for athletes to make big improvements. This unique 4 day camp will take place over the National ‘Australia Day’ holiday weekend from FRI 25th-MON 28th JAN 2013. Athletes should plan to arrive on the evening of THU 24th JAN as we will begin early on FRI 25th to make the most of this amazing opportunity with Darren Smith.
Commenting on the London training event back in AUG 2012 Darren Smith said: “I got a kick out of working with those who attended the Tri Dynamic training weekend in London because the enthusiasm from the participants was infectious and frankly it was pretty easy to make some really significant changes in such a short period of time. Bang for bucks, both time and energy is good for everyone.”
