Tri Dynamic Mallorca Training Camp With Dan Bullock & Steve Trew

Triathlon training camp specialists Tri Dynamic have teamed up with two of the best triathlon coaches in the UK, Steve Trew & Dan Bullock, to organise a fantastic new triathlon training camp in sunny Mallorca from April 27th-May 4th 2013. This camp is also the Official UK Training Camp of the Mallorca Olympic Distance Triathlon, which will take place on SAT 4th May 2013. The camp will take place at the world class BEST Centre in Mallorca, home to the Mallorca Olympic Distance Triathlon. Mallorca is a perfect base for a spring triathlon training camp to get you ready for the upcoming race season under the expert guidance of Steve Trew & Dan Bullock. Mallorca has become a mecca for triathletes with several pro ironman athletes calling it home including some of the biggest names in the sport including Andreas Raelert, Jan Frodeno, Daniel Unger, Marino Vanhoenacker, Sandra Wallenhorst and Normann Stadler, all of whom have chosen the BEST Centre and Mallorca as the location for their preparation camps.

Like all Tri Dynamic camps numbers will be limited to a maximum of 20 athletes to ensure that everyone gets lots of individual attention and coaching from Steve Trew & Dan Bullock. Participants in the camp will have the opportunity to extend their stay by one night to round off a fantastic week and enjoy racing in the Mallorca Olympic Distance triathlon as part of ‘Team Tri Dynamic’ on the last day of the camp and then relax and recover before flying home the next day. There will be other teams from Germany & Spain so it is a great opportunity for some friendly rivalry! This camp is perfect if you are planning to compete in the Mallorca Olympic Distance Triathlon or as a fitness tune up before your key races for the new season. The aim is to build skills and fitness to ensure you get the most out of a dedicated training week with world class coaches. You will also have the opportunity to swim, bike and run on the Official course of the Mallorca Olympic Triathlon during the week so you know what to expect come race day.

The BEST Centre has hosted dozens of national swimming federations and plays host to the Mallorca Olympic distance triathlon each year. It is run by former GB Olympic swimmer & Eurosport commentator, James Parrack. The area is the perfect venue for a triathlon training camp due to the fantastic facilities across all three sports which are available including a state-of-the-art, outdoor 10 lane 50m pool with permanent video cameras installed at the underwater viewing windows. Mallorca has long been known as a haven for triathletes and cyclists to enjoy the amazing and challenging bike rides that the island has to offer. Everything is within a few minutes’ walk from the fantastic 4* hotel which we will be staying at including access to a fantastic 10k soft surface running trail which is ideal for run training and brick sessions.

The camp with Steve Trew & Dan Bullock is ideal for triathletes of all abilities whether you are preparing for your first Sprint of Olympic distance race or more seasoned Ironman 70.3 and Ironman competitors. Athletes will be divided into ability groups so there will always be someone of a similar ability to swim, bike and run with. You will be supported by expert local guides on the bike rides along with Steve Trew & Dan Bullock and experienced Tri Dynamic support staff.

In the evenings there will be sessions to go over the swim & run video analysis footage as well as covering key topics for improving your triathlon training and racing. This camp is about learning about how to train and race smarter as well as an early season fitness camp to improve your skills in all 3 disciplines. Transitions and open water skills workshops with experts Steve Trew & Dan Bullock will ensure that you are race ready.
