Lukas Verzbicas Seriously Injured In Bike Crash

Up-and-coming professional triathlete Lukas Verzbicas crashed while riding his bike outside of Colorado Springs on Tuesday, July 31. Triathlete’s Bob Babbitt spoke with Verzbicas’ mother, Rasa, who said that he is in intensive care with a broken collar bone, blood in his lungs and will need surgery on his back.

We obviously wish him a speedy recovery and will report back as soon as we hear anything.
