Thank you for all of your calls and emails today, we just wanted to keep all of you upto date with all of the latest news for the events this weekend. As you may have noticed the weather has been horrible for the last few weeks and hasnt really improved this week with the rain still falling.

Currentley both the events are STILL going ahead for this weekend, we have taken proffessional advise and have been in close contact to the environmental agency over the last few days keeping an eye on the River. We are confident that we can put on a safe event for all particpnats taking part on Saturday and Sunday.

A FINAL decission will be made first thing tomorrow morning about both events, but at the moment tomorrows swim will continue as normal but with multiple laps for the 1.5km & 3km Swims keeping all swimmers in eye sight and this will ensure a safe swim with well covered water cover. The 1.5km swim on Sunday for the Olympic distance triathlon will also be multiple laps.

We want to ensure all participants safety, if it was unsafe we would not heisitate to postpone the event.

If you know others that are taking part then please let them know about this news and to keep an eye out for another announcement tomorrow morning. The whole F3 events team will be down at the events this weekend so please check our facebook page which will be updated with any news and unfortunately not all messages will be replied to straight away as we will be very busy.

If you have any urgent messages then you can call us on 07909915444.
