Ironman Cairns Set To Open For Entries

Want to take part in what is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular Ironman races on the planet (and not a bad one to nab a Kona spot)? Well, entries for the second Ironman Cairns open next Tuesday (17th) and you can expect them to sell out quickly.

IRONMAN and USM Events are proud to announce that the 2013 Cairns Airport Adventure Festival, including Cairns Airport Ironman Cairns, will take place from 2 to 10 June 2013.

CAIRNS AIRPORT IRONMAN CAIRNS – taking place on Sunday 9 June 2013 – will open for individual entries* on Tuesday 17th July 2012 at 11am AEST online at www.IronmanCairns.com.

Set in one of the world’s most iconic tropical locations, Cairns Airport Ironman features a 3.8km swim in the warm waters off Tropical North Queensland, a 180km bike leg that travels one of the most scenic coastal roads in Australia towards Port Douglas and a 42.2km run that included the Cairns Esplanade before finishing in the heart of Cairns.

Cairns Airport IRONMAN Cairns features 40 qualifying slots to the 2013 IRONMAN World Championship, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
