F3 Events recently held the first ever Maxifuel Marlow Half Iron Distance race, which had over 400 participants tackle the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire countryside. The next Maxifuel Marlow Triathlon on July 15th is nearly sold out and entries close on Monday, there is a Sprint and Olympic Distant option, so book now if you are going to attend. Thames Open Water Swim Series – returns on Saturday July 14th the 3rd Annual Marlow River Swim takes place on the banks of the river Thames, where David Walliams witnessed some of the largest supporting crowds in his river Thames swim in 2011. With a 750m, 1.5km and 3.0km distance to choose from, it really provides an opportunity for anyone to try these distances and swim safely along one of the most beautiful stretches of the the Berkshire / Buckinghamshire countryside.
The third event in the series takes place on Saturday August 18th at Henley on Thames, Shiplake College . With a 6pm start time, this event had the best feedback from all of our events in 2011, as the weather was just perfect with an amazing backdrop for all participants and spectators to see.
The final event for 2012 will be the Maxifuel Open Water Swim Challenge at Bray Lake Watersports. It will host the final official 10km open water swim of the season with distances changing slightly with a 1km, 2km, 4km, 5km and 10km to choose from.
