The Ten Greatest Female Ironman Triathletes Ever

They are some of the fastest athletes on the planet, and their exploits are impressive to say the least. But who are the greatest female Iron-distance triathletes to have graced this sport? Obviously, this is something of a Pandora’s box (we’ve already altered the original list that appeared in our sister magazine, Inside Triathlon, as we see fit), but we’ve done our best to pick a top ten of some of the most impressive athletes out there (they’re not ranked but listed alphabetically). Of course, opinions differ and this is somewhat subjective so feel free to add your thoughts in the comments sections below. One thing we can all agree on though is that these women are all very, very good (and very, very fast).
